Bike has since put in some miles on the July 4th SD Harley anti helmet ride,

and won the bike trophy at the La Mesa Cruise Night.

There were mostly Harley's lined up un both sides of a 2 block long stretch of street. It got the most attention.

Starting at Fiesta Island:

and ending up at SD Harley.

Look to be a couple of hundred bikes.

They had traffic control at the intersections, so we didn't have to stop at

intersections.

Went up I 5 to 52 to 163 and the HD shop.

The only wrenching needed was on the top tank bolts vibrating out about

1/4 inch. Took out and put loctite when I got home.

It was actually all 5 bolts on the top that hold tanks to frame.

Lost 1 of them, outright, and the other 4 were out 1 / 4 inch.

I'll post La Mesa Pictures in the later morning.

The La Mesa Cruise Night Org hasn't updated their web site from July 10th.

Here's some pics from last Thursday.

I may take my 46 Knuckle or '52 Pan, over there, tomorrow.

Nice bike. That is something that you don't see on the road much.

Re: Tuning by Paper Towel, 1931 HD VL

Didn't make the show, tonight.

The '46 Knuckle battery was beyond charging, pulled it ,and it was 4 years old.

Decided to pull batteries on 4 Pans, 4 J models, and 2 Indians.

Will be going to a local battery specialist and be getting some sealed batteries, as available.

Below, a copy of the web page, which they finally updated.

Yours truly. .........
