1989 FLTC Ultra
My uncle has a 89 FLTC ultra, and the inside of the gas tank is corroding out. He plans on using Kreem fuel tank cleaner to clean out the inside of the tank. Is this the best method? He cannot find a replacement tank, and wants to keep the bike original. thanx in advance for replies.

Re: 1989 FLTC Ultra
The Kreem has been known to cause problems with coming loose after the application and gumming things up. Possibly try a radiator repair shop and have them clean out the interior or use an etching acid to remove the rust being careful of the paint.
