1964 XLCH Sportster

Hi to every one i have 1964 sporty that is a magneto ran bike and i have no wiring diagram,and i would like to wire in a battery is this possible,it was possible on my old trump?

Yeah you can do it.I had a '68 XLCH (wish I still did ) and ran a battery so I'd have lights.Find somewhere to put a small battery and wire up a regulator.Poof!headlights at idle!I may have a Franks regulator somewhere.Bolts on the end of the generator.Nice and clean.

Sorry it took me so long to get back,butt some times lif happens.If you still have that regulator i'm very interested.
