whats a considered a classic

i notice some other sites have a evo section. i have a 1990 fxstc, would that be considered a classic. after all its 19 years old.

Usually 20 years would be considered a classic.

I would say an ANTIQUE, albiet a very collectable one if it is in good shape, post a pix and...maybe...we can figure it out. Love old bikes!

F-head, also known as JD, pocket valve and IOE (intake over exhaust), 1914–1929 (1000 cc), and 1922–1929 (1200 cc)
Flathead, 1930–1948 (1200 cc) and 1935–1941 (1300 cc).
Knucklehead, 1936–1947 61 cubic inch (1000 cc), and 1941–1947 74 cubic inch (1200 cc)
Panhead, 1948–1952 61 cubic inch (1000 cc), and 1948–1965, 74 cubic inch (1200 cc)
Shovelhead, 1966–1984, 74 cubic inch (1200 cc) and 82 cubic inch (1345 cc) since late 1978
Evolution (aka "Evo" and "Blockhead"), 1984–2000, 80 cubic inch (1340 cc)
Twin Cam 88 (aka "Fathead") 1999–2006, 88 cubic inch (1450 cc)
Twin Cam 88B (counter balanced version of the Twin Cam 88) 2000–2006, 88 cubic inch (1450 cc)
Twin Cam 96, since 2007, 96 cubic inch (1584 cc)
Twin Cam 103, 2003–2006, 2009, 103 cubic inch (1690 cc) (engines for C.V.O. models)
Twin Cam 110, since 2007, 110 cubic inch (1802 cc) (engines for C.V.O. models)

1945 pan would be consider amazing.
For me the term classic is more the effect the bike had rather than age.
Just like cars just because it is old does not make it special.
Some bikes were trend setters the first or last of their blood line.
one year wonders ect.
look at it like this No one gets excited about a 1985 goldwing they would almost have to pay you to take it, but any 1985 HD would still have and intrested following.
If you had one of the first EVO's that would be a bike of intrest or the first or last Knuckle,pan .
