Pan...Heads
what is the correct way to replace seats on a pan head for unleaded fuel ? The factory brass seats are cast in the heads.

you basicly have 2 weys to do this you can have a build up and regrind done on the seats or go with over size valves but witch wey you go would depend on what shape the heads are in ,you will have to measure the valve seat to determin ,the valve seat is measured by the protrusion of the stem above the guide. Just a note what ever you do hang on to those heads they are worth there weight in gold , If you send them out dont let them tell you they are no good , with todays tech your heads can be redone in most cases,if you choose to go with aftermarket heads ,hang on to your OEMS.
