I just got my second Shovel last night...an 83 Wide Glide....solids, fireball cam, S&S...I'll have to upgrade my mood icon to EEE...HAAA...
sold my first 15 yrs ago...been a while but the groove is still there...I'd forgotten how much fun it is...  |

Thanks Glider...I'll get it into the lab next week and do all those things the previous missed...I read your piece on brake flush...on my list...check fall away...clutch needs some attention also...but it runs, good...lots of throttle response, pretty sure I'm going to add some fork oil...

Don't go over 1/2 ounce extra in each leg if you go over specs. Maybe just a heavier grade will do.

I'm doing real fine Glider...We are sponsering a poker run next Saturday, at the school in Frontenac...I'd like to extend a personal invite...food, games, tours of the school... dyno runs...We do things like this several times a year to benefit our chapter of SkillsUSA...I'd surely like to see you and everyone else in here there next Sat...April 5th...
Oh Yeah...I will be doing my summer internship at Topeka Harley-Davidson...changing tires, PDIs, 1 & 5K services, custom swaps, should be fun, Topeka is a fine dealership, quaint old building with a replica town in back, old store fronts, paver brick and summertime functions weekly...I'm excited...Any and All stop in and see me this summer... |
