Daytona 200 SuperPoll results
Danny Eslick's Buell 1125R missed being on the poll for the 200 by .112 of a second!
Ben Bostrom, on the Yamala YZF-R6, got the nod with a 1:50.240 lap time... This should make for an interesting 200. Looks like the Buell has a shot at a podium finish! Here'e the link to the Superbike Planet site with the times: Soup :: :: 03-05-2009 Unfortunately, The Speed will not be showing the race until March 21st. But the Superbike Planet site posts moment to moment updates on the racing action.

The Ben Bos on the Yamaha will be fast.. Have you have ever seen him race? He ran on the satellite ducati team, NCR, and the full factory Corse bikes and won a bunch of WSBK races. He has this let the back end weave on the brakes (he really loads the front under braking), square off the corner, lean it over, scrap the elbow, get on the gas early riding style.
He'll be fun to watch.. I'm hoping Buell will get the job done. It would be nice to see 'em on the rostrum.. Here's a link to the SuperPole press conference. Soup :: Daytona 200 Superpole Press Confrence :: 03-06-2009
