XB12X Buell Ulysses

I guess I would like to start a forum and talk about the Buell XB12X Ulysses. I have always been a big fan of this bike since it came out in 2006, and I am curious on everyone elses feelings. I like the off road capabilities. I understand it's not a KTM or R1200GS, but to me it has all the options to do everything an off roader could do. Your thoughts?

Re: XB12X Buell Ulysses

Yeah, there is no doubt that it's tall. I think Buell did a nice job to some what combat that though. They have a low seat option, and overall lowered the bike in 2008. Gotta leave some room for off roading though, lol. The new Ulysses XT is a nice setup with heated grips and bags and what not, but I feel is doesn't have the clearance needed to go off road. Ideally, I like the Ulysses set up with the "Outdoorsman" Bags they recently came out with.

Re: XB12X Buell Ulysses

I test rode one right after they came out and was underwelmed to say the least. I was looking for something different and it was just underpowered and top heavy. It didn't help that I rode to the test ride on a Speed Triple. Now if Harley could just build one of those!!!!!!
