DOT Brake Fluids - 756 days old
Some facts about brake fluids.
DOT 5 brake fluid is a silicone-based fluid and is not compatible with DOT 4. It is also less suitable than DOT 4 for ABS systems, because of its higher compressibility.
DOT 5.1 brake fluid is a low-viscosity, high-temperature fluid compatible with DOT 4 and DOT 3. Its low viscosity makes it... Read more

Wheel Balancing - 866 days old
From Dunlop Tires

Brake Bleeding Tips - 649 days old
If you have one of those problem brake systems that you just can't get bled properly, try this before you loose your mind.
After you have bled the calipers good, turn the bars all the way left, then tie your brake lever in the "squeezed" position with a bungee cord or something to hold the handle to the bar, fill the master cylinder... Read more

Brake Bleeding - 196 days old
Here's a simple way to bleed brakes. It's a fitting installed in a spare cover for the type of cylinder you have. These should be available at the dealers for little or nothing as a take off part. The air fitting replaces the sight glass in the cover.
I installed an air line quick disconnect fitting with epoxy on the threads to seal it.... Read more

Tire Inflation - 198 days old
I would suggest to contact a rep for the tire company you are running and ask them about the use of the MAX pressure as your regular running pressure.
Over inflation can do some strange things to tires including causing excessive wear down the middle of the tire especially on a profile that is flatter than the motorcycle tires. It... Read more

Nitrogen In Tires - 320 days old
Considering the air we breathe is 78% nitrogen anyway and 21% oxygen, I think it's a bit of overkill myself JMO. I'm sure there are many that will endorse it's use in any event.
You can top off a tire with regular compressed air when running the nitrogen.
More often than not the tire will be worn out before the cost and benefit of... Read more
