Some have had problems with the mufflers on some models sliding back on the pipes after they install them.
What I have found helps here is to make sure the clamp is in the front most position on the muffler so it clamps on the slotted area of the muffler inlet. If it is on the solid part of the inlet, the clamping load cannot squeeze the pipe to tighten it onto the pipe and the muffler will usually walk back and come off.
Also it may be pointed out here that the muffler should be far enough onto the pipe that the slots in the muffler are completely covered by the pipe inside or an exhaust noise like a tick will be heard when the engine is under acceleration.
In extreme cases some new Torca clamps from the dealer will be needed, however despite what is in the service manual, the stock clamps can be reused at least one time after they are removed originally. Always torque the clamps for best results.
