If you are thinking about changing from EFI to a carb, there's a lot of parts that get replaced to do it and the cost can add up too.
Here's some input on a softail on what gets changed.

Why would anyone go from EFI to a carb ? What are the benifits. From what I have read on this site EFI is just better.

The people that go from EFI to carb feel more comfortable with a carb and probably can understand them better than EFI.

Glider, thanks for that post. I'm considering that if I ever have probs with EFI. This deuce is my only EFI bike. I've done lots of carb jetting and really feel comfortable with them.

Give it some serious thought before making the move. The EFI is really a good thing on these bikes even though you can't do a lot of changes with it yourself, there's ways around it and it's worth having EFI.
