Here's a few connectors found in the wiring harness for the tail lights and signals as well as other places and how to remove the wiring connectors on them.
The Lisle pin tool available online through J&P cycles for on will aid in removing the pins. Quite often a safety pin opened up straight can be used to depress the tang on the wiring end fitting to release them from the plug.
