Removing Clutch Cover

If you are adding a light clutch or changing to stainless cables, there's no need to remove the exhaust to access the clutch cover on the end of the transmission on big twins.

Use a 1/4" allen wrench and cut the short end as short as possible to leave just enough to seat in the allen head completely and you can remove the clutch/trans cover without removing anything else to access it on most bikes.

The bolts do not have to be removed from the cover so that the cover can be lifted out and over the pipes with the bolts still in the cover holes. Once you break the bolts loose with the short allen, many times you can spin them out with your fingers then.

Saves some time and removing exhaust systems isn't needed doing it this way.
