On systems with the optional smart siren, to prevent the module from actuating the the siren using it's own power source, follow these steps.

1. Verify that the FOB is present.

2. Turn the ignition key to Ignition.

3. Pull the maxi fuse from it's holder or disconnect the battery at this time to avoid alarm soundings.
