Interesting (and long) thread.

I guess it pays to read the rules but like most sites, you just hit "ok" and move on. I got my warning and I understand and agree with the rules here. Too many other sites have free-for-alls that degrade into nothingness.

Love the site and the info I've gotten here. For those that argue censorship/freespeech etc...it should be reminded that private groups can set whatever rules they want.

Way to go Glider. Love seeing some of your responses when its followed up with a "poof" icon...and hope it never comes towards me!!!!

Love the site and plan on hanging around a while.

Thanks Skratch, all we want here is to keep the forum free of all the nonsense that goes on with some other forums where the members get attacked if the questions don't "agree" with the keyboard commandos on that forum.
If it means we have to remove the "problem children", then that's what it shall be.

Well I am no rookie as I have had my share of shock collars activated. That said, I still made the mistake of letting my frustration overide my sense while posting the other day, so I can see how it can happen. I used sensor symbols to vent and I got shocked immediately. Can't wait for that point against me to expire........

Hopefully it will expire with no future points added again.

We had to tighten the reins on the forum because of some members that can't post without profanity and we refuse to let that happen and pull the forum down.

Vacations that are being cheerfully given to or shall I say "earned" by the offending members are getting much more lengthy lately as a result of this on their first offensive post.

Vacations are only given once in a lifetime, after that, it's a permanent solution to the problem.
Like mentioned elsewhere, we would rather loose some members than destroy all the work that has gone into the forum to make it what is it by the staff here.

I will call them "experience" points. I was afraid the "Hidious" word might have got me shocked again! LOL!!! Thanks for keeping us where we need to be!
