Yeah I got one of these also, Just so you know I put the &^%$#)( symbols in myself and did not actually spell the word out but I get the point about referencing it too.

Maybe a warning would have been better for a 1st offense rather than 3 e-mails and a suspension, but I guess if I want to play good cop maybe I should start my own site. Lesson Learned

Maybe you should look back through your own posts before claiming the first offense.
You'll find that this wasn't the first time you got that notice (2/17 and 2/24). That sounds like twice to me and you're still posting here.

Read the rules,they tell you about abreviations used for words,that was my first warning,It's not hard to comply with the rules around here!

Not that it's a big deal or anything but I never got a notice on the 17th, I got a message on the 24th referring to the 17th, along with 2 more e-mails regarding the 24th and the suspension.

Nah, I don't feel slighted at all. Just don't want you to think I ignored the 1st warning because I never got it. But Hey Thanks for the Warning now though.

Glad I read this thread. I noticed that one of my posts was edited by someone else and was wondering why. Then I did the compare thing and caught it. Didn't get a warning or anything, but then again it was a minor infraction (if there is one) and I get it now so there is really no need to take any action now. But if there has to be some action taken, I can handle it. Again, glad I read this thread.

All I know is that I was suspended the first time I used a word that I didn't think was really all that offensive (the slang for "drunk" when used in England). I also "starred" another word in the same post to PREVENT offending anyone.

Moreover, when I tried to send email to the moderators to apologize, I discovered that my suspension wouldn't allow that either.

So, a week later, and I'm now able to post again. This is my second post (the first was a single word in the Northeast Regional forum: my home town, "Nashua").

I'm still wondering whether I should post a couple of replies to posts that happened while I was banned. I've got the answers, I've used the equipment, have had an appropriate experience, and I have some solutions... but... well...
