Picture Posting Size

Please keep your pictures in the threads to a MAXIMUM of 800 X 600.
We have had to notify quite a few members that post pictures much larger than this size and the problem is that it stretches out the thread and makes it difficult to moderate.

A PM is usually sent to the member asking them to downsize the picture which makes a bit more work on the moderators part and the follow up after the PM that really isn't necessary.

In some cases the picture was not downsized as requested so it was removed instead.

Please help us to help you by keeping the pictures to the proper size listed above when posting them.

does that size apply to a photobucket linked picture also?

Sure does, It applies to what we see on the screen here on the forum. 800 X 600 MAXIMUM in size.

I do try to keep my pics at 800X600 Max sorry if let a couple slip in oversized will watch them closer...

If you right click on the pic and go to properties, it will tell you the size of the picture in the thread.

When you say 800 X600 do you mean pixels or dpi?

pixels, dpi is "dots per inch"
