No need to retake a picture. If you use Photobucket, it can resize to exactly 800x600 and edit picture to improve brightness and contrast.

I think you can resize a picture with just about any photo editing or managing software. I use ACDSEE most of the time but any thing such as Ulead, Microsoft Office Picture Manager, Paint, Photo Shop, ETC. should do it. It's usually a fairly easy step...Like go to edit or enhance photo and the select "resize" photo or picture and it will then ask you what size and whether or not to keep the aspect ratio.
Everyone running windows has "paint" It will do it fairly easily.
