Yes. That is what I use. Our MCV 20W-50 is rated for all three holes (engine, primary and transmission).

Take a look at this link and for the Twin Cam bikes the chart will show a Best, Secondary and Alternate product recommendations. For example for the Evolution 1340 - Twin Cam - Revolution bikes it shows the MCV 20W-50 as the Best for all 3 holes. You will see our Severe Gear (the SVT) is a Secondary choice for the tranny and SVO is an alternate for the tranny.

AMSOIL - Harley-Davidson/AMSOIL Oil Chart

Also the PDF in the above first post will say that same thing.

The chart doen't include the 103 engine 1690 ci . I am assuming that it would fall under the same category

This might shock some to read but in my opinion you would do well with any of the leading synthetics that are engineered for our Motorcycles. As long as you follow the drain intervals you should have no problem.

With AMSOIL, you get someone like me, the Dealer. I will answer questions unlike the kid that stocks shelves in the auto-parts store I can really help and not just on Motorcycles. What I don't know I can ask a higher authority for the answer. Try asking the kid in the auto-parts store anything, I bet you are likely to get no answer. LOL

As far as the two brands, AMSOIL tests better and I have used it for years. I sell it because I believe in it. AMSOIL invented the synthetic lubricant industry. They know the business and do it well.

Have always used it in my bikes. Just transitioned the Ultra to MCV 20-50 in the crankcase and motor with Severe Gear in the gearbox (prefer the thicker viscosity down here in the heat).

Great protection and peace of mind for those hot days in Florida.

There is no way I would put 20W-50 in my Tranny. Redline Shockproof is one of the best oils to use in the Tranny. I like the weight of the oil and shifting is way smoother.
