Smart Siren II installation

Trying to install the optional HD siren for a 2008 FXCWC Rocker. The instructions that came with the unit for the softail don't match the Rocker layout. I've found the cable connection on the electrical panel between the rear fender and the seat. but I can't find anyplace to anchor the siren unit. Anyone run into this before?

Ended up mounting it with epoxy to the inside of the electrical panel cover.

Re: Smart Siren II installation

Thanks, Glider. Just installed the Smart Siren II in my 09 Road Glide. Simple as it could be because of your photo's and explanation.

Re: Smart Siren II installation

I'm trying to put the smart siren II on my 2009 sportster and can't find where to plug in the harness. I thought it should be right in front of my face? I'm stumped. I didn't take the battery out mostly because I don't know how. I'm going to take a break because I'm getting mad.

Edit: Finally found the sucker. It was hidden from me pretty good. Alarm is up and working great. Although it takes a lot of wiggle to make it chirp at you. Is that normal?

I just installed the optional siren II on my 09 FXCW Rocker. The siren slides into a slot on the right side of the electric panel. There is a small clip that locks it in place. There is no need to epoxy anything.

This is a great site with alot of useful info!

Where did you find it? I have a 2006 Sportster, but imagine it may be in the same location. If anyone has instructions for the Smart Siren II Sportster installation, I'd appreciate it if you would upload them.

Thanks
