my first add-on was a new set of tires at 13K miles.

I mostly just change oil and ride.

Pegs, added Kuryakyn Swingwing and Sweptwing, a lot more comfortable than the HD standards.

Depending on what type you buy it can be good for some safety protection and provides another alternative for leg position with highway pegs.
