If may have something to do with the physical size of the bike and motor. An 883 is a lot less intimidating than a Big Twin

very true its always best to let the person riding the bike choose, if they want the sportster then fine, if they want the BT fine again, but put a sporty up next to a dyna and the dyna is not that much bigger than the sporty and the sporty is much taller, i throughly enjoyed blastingmy sporties and i will always have one in some guise be it Sporty/Buell/Chop
