To add to this topic, the one hose pumps that some avoid because of the possibility of low grade fuel being left in the hose from the last customer have a drain back valve in the pump that drains the remaining fuel from the last customer so you get basically what you pay for.

OK, I really can't see how that big hose that is connected 12 feet above my head going into the pump returns the fuel back to the tank so that when I go for the high grade fuel, that this is what I am getting. I noticed that people that prepay and have the pump automatically stop drain all the fuel out of the hose so that when I go to get fuel and authorize my card that ** when I lift handle and before I even touch the nozzle, it shows .70 to .90 cents added ( what was required to fill hose) I feel like I am getting robbed almost everytime I refuel. AM I the only one who notices this stuff?
