I agree with you on the 700 Remington. We have one that hubby set up real nice. We had an Armalite target rifle, but it was just too heavy and not that great to shoot for us. We had a 300 yard range on the farm in WV, but we moved it after the timber project so now we only have 250 yards, but we can shoot off the front porch instead of lugging every thing over to the other range. Much better IMO. We will get back to 300 but we have to clear some more trees.
