I had an opportunity to purchase a lee enfield chambered in .308 I sadly let it slip through my fingers. Now the only ones that I can find are chambered in .303 British, really not a problem except the ammo costs like no other. I have looked at some m1 carbines as well, the ones that I have looked at are just junk.
