Re: Powder coating lower fork tube covers.

Yes, they have to be disassembled and the fork seals removed. Make sure you send the bottom fork cap out with the rest. Ask the powder coat shop what they do for the fork drain screw holes. If powder gets in there, the screws won't go back in, and it's a tiny metric thread. A good shop knows what to do.
