Don't know the make up of the different greases but I have used wheel bearing grease also on the battery terminals at times. The dielectric grease probably has some properties that make it more non conducting than other greases. That's about the only thing I can thing of.

I believe there is some work being done at the server level. There's a notice at the top of the forum.
