I totally understand and respect your point, DK, I really do. It IS an expensive undertaking and not getting cheaper. So, what good would pulling out early do if we're already invested this much in it? What honor would it bring to our folks who have made the ultimate sacrifice if we elect a president who can think of nothing BUT how soon we can bail? It's a give and take situation. If we leave it will probably save lives and definitely will save money. On the other hand, they are stabilising and working toward being a productive member of the world community. If we bail, it could wind up right back in chaos and Saddam II would probably show up. Not to mention Al Queada showing up in droves. IMHO, we need to see it through and that will definitely influence me in the voting booth.
