Tony, ignore them. If you got the bike you wanted, and it fits your needs and riding demands... then it's the right bike for you!

I got a bit of the same in my ear... not because of age... but because it was my first bike ever. "Why'd you get that big ol EG anyhow? Isn't it too big?" Perhaps it is large, and heavy, but my feeling was "I learned how to DRIVE in a huge '74 Lincoln (land yacht), and now I feel comfortable driving anything short of a Mack truck. So I may as well learn to RIDE on a big ol' machine... and then I won't mind riding anything out there on two wheels!"

It fits perfect for me!

So let them call you geezer glider or whatever they wish... then take them all out on a nice 8 hour ride... see who comes back complainin' about back problems!!
