On my Buell I picked up a 5/16 bolt. I heard a puff and didn't really feel any ill effects at 60 mph. but after a mile I stopped to check it out. there was a cut in the inner fender and this bolt sticking out of the tire. I swear that if it hadn't been a radial tire it would have been a very bad situation. I am currently in the process of changing my spoked wheels for a set of cast wheels just for a puncture situation.
